We are not a car rental company, we do not own or operate a fleet of vehicles, and we are not a party to any rental agreement made between a visitor and a supplier. These terms explain how our website may be used and what you can expect from the information we publish.
Our website aggregates and displays information collected from local suppliers - vehicle categories, indicative pricing, and general conditions such as deposit requirements. When you proceed to check availability or complete a booking, you leave our informational pages and interact with a separate booking system operated on behalf of the supplier. The final rental contract, including vehicle handover, fuel policy, mileage, insurance excess, deposit (if any) and cancellation rules, is agreed directly between you and the supplier at the time of booking or collection. We recommend reading the supplier's own conditions carefully before confirming a reservation.
We make reasonable efforts to keep prices, availability windows and general conditions up to date, drawing on information provided by suppliers across the islands. However, rental prices are seasonal and can change without notice, and a supplier's stock of vehicles at Seychelles airport, in Victoria or on Praslin can sell out during peak weeks in December-January and July-August. Any price shown on our pages is indicative "from" pricing; the price and conditions confirmed at the time of booking take precedence over anything displayed earlier on our site.
We do not guarantee that any specific vehicle, price or supplier condition referenced on our website will remain available at the moment you attempt to book. We also do not guarantee a specific deposit amount, damage excess or fuel policy, as these vary by supplier and are set out per offer at checkout. Comparisons published on our pages reflect our own honest, non-sponsored assessment based on supplier reputation and transparency of conditions, but they are not a substitute for reading the supplier's terms in full.
When using our website you agree to provide accurate information where requested (for example on our contact form), to use the site for personal, non-commercial research into car rental options in the Seychelles, and not to attempt to copy, scrape or resell the content of this website without permission. You remain responsible for holding a valid driving licence recognised in Seychelles, for meeting any minimum age or licence-holding period required by the supplier you eventually book with, and for driving on the left-hand side of the road, which is standard across all islands.
To the extent permitted by law, MangoCars.sc excludes liability for losses arising from your use of a rental vehicle, disputes with a supplier, missed flights or ferries connected to a delayed handover, or any indirect or consequential loss connected to information published on this website. Our liability, where it cannot legally be excluded, is limited to the cost of any service we have directly charged you for, which under normal use of this comparison website is nil, as booking and payment are handled by the supplier or the linked booking platform.
Our pages link to a booking interface that is not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content, security or performance of third-party systems, and any payment, cancellation or refund request relating to an actual reservation should be directed to the supplier or the booking platform used to confirm it, not to MangoCars.sc.
The text, layout and design of this website are the property of MangoCars.sc unless otherwise indicated. Vehicle images and supplier logos, where used, remain the property of their respective owners.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in how our comparison service operates or in the local rental market across Mahe, Praslin and Victoria. The version published on this page at the time of your visit is the one that applies.
These terms are governed by the applicable laws under which MangoCars.sc operates. Any dispute relating to an actual rental contract is a matter between you and the relevant local supplier, and should first be raised with that supplier directly.
